Reunion (再会 Saikai) is the twenty-first episode of Rewrite TV Anime series, and the eighth episode of the 2nd Season. It aired on March 4, 2017.
The episode begins with the second part of Terra Route.
Synopsis[]
Kotarou arrived back to Japan. He had a small conversation with Esaka, where he said that neither Guardian, Gaia, nor the Key had made a move for the past two years.
In his hotel room, Kotarou was looking to his and Jasmine's investigation about the Key, until he sensed a presence that led him to Kagari.
Kagari then talked about how Earth could no longer withstand ruin and re-evolution. In disbelief, Kotarou wondered why she is telling him that, to which she replied that it was because they formed a link when he made contact with her.
Kotarou asked if he can convince her not to bring ruin, but Kagari said that the only solution will be to bring her a good memory. Whatever it was, she then asked him if he can bring one, and in exchange, he could fondle her.
By the beacon's command, Kotarou accepted, regardless of the reward. Kagari felt that it was human conflict that was bringing her sad memories, so Kotarou figured that ending the war between Gaia and Guardian might be the solution.
