Appearance

Midou is a man in about his early twenties; he has spike blonde hair, and violet eyes. He is only seen wearing his summoner's outfit which consists of a dark blue shirt, black pants, gloves, and a red hoodie that extends down to his legs.

Personality

Midou is cold, ruthless, seemingly deranged, and has a short temper. He loves to fight; well mostly wants to burn everyone and everything around him to the ground. Kotarou compaired his "killing instinct" to that of a carniverouse animal. Midou himself considers himself as not evil, but rather that he does whatever he wants in life, implicating that he is very impulsive.

Synopsis

Midou's history is revealed in Chihaya's Route. He grew up in a war ravaged country, when his parents were killed he probably went deranged and set himself on fire for the "hell" of it, yet he somehow survived. Eventually he was transported to another country where he met Tenma and Tenjin.

Midou began to follow his own path in life and eventually became a summoner. He first appears in Rewrite when he was about to be jumped by gangsters in an alley, though he easily dispatches them and walks away unharmed.

In Chihaya's route he appears again in the forest along with Tenma and Tengin, surrounded by hound-familiars. As they become aware of Kotarou's existence they all leave, but Midou allows a red and black hound to stay and fight Kotarou. Midou appears again when Tenma is on the verge of death (His familiar is sucking out is life-force in order to heal its wounds). Tenma decides to die rather than live so Midou summouns his onw familiar and burns Tenma's body to ash.

After proposing a challenge to Kotarou on the street, midou attacks him and Chihaya in the school gym and over-whelms them with the power of his fire-familiar Fuego. However, Kotarou manages to defeat Midou, but chooses not to kill him. Midou tells Kotarou aspects of his past then burns himself on death while laughing.

In the battle against Shizuru and Touka Midou contacts Kotarou from hell and pressures him into using his full power in order to kill Shizuru and Touka, Kotarou loses control of himself and starts to attack everyone unconsciously. Midou lectures him saying that this is what hsi desires get him. Kotarou eventually snaps back to normal and decides to not be like Midou.

Midou contacts Kotarou in the final phases of Chihaya's Route and loans him the power of his familiar "Fuego". His reason is that he wants Kotarou to keep walking his current path just so he can see him fail.

Arnaments

• Fuego: His familiar, fuego is a fire/magma familiar the power to create and manipulate fire and the ability to regenarate.
• Hounds: A pack of dog-familiars that the random summoners use to kill people.

Abilities

All of Midou's powers are created through his contract with his familiar, Fuego.

• Fire Creating: While holding Fuego, Midou can manipulate the fire Fuegu produces.
• Silicone Shield: Midou hardens Fuego's flames in order to create a hard glass-like shield made of silicone.

• Fuego is the smallest familiar in Rewrite.
